About

Previously, I led engineering teams at Affirm building the next generation of financial technology within our new product accelerator. We built the first version of Debit+ and then a crypto product. Prior to that, I led the Solutions Architecture function defining and building new technology and integrations for the biggest retailers in the world. It was a blast going from 400 to 2400 employees in 3 years! Before Affirm, I spent 1.5 years at Engagio (acquired by Demandbase).

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in Cognitive Science (concentration in Computational Modeling and Data Science). I love combining my business and software engineering skills and interests to solve complex, important problems.

When I am not working, I am in the gym or dojo, spending time with my wife, friends and family, or making (and eating) too much peanut butter.

I also invest in and advise ambitious founders working on important problems in healthcare, fintech, and other industries out of Window Ventures.

Two Passions

  1. I love helping people find fulfilling careers in the tech industry. Happy to answer questions about tech and startups, do resume reviews, help with applications, find great companies, etc.
  2. I love coaching and helping people. For founders, it’s everything from “what important problem should I dedicate my life to” to ideation to building an MVP and raising money. For everyone else it’s “what should I do with my life”, thinking through big decisions, getting unstuck, or finding wellbeing. I draw inspiration from many philosophical, psychological, and business perspectives that I’ve been told brings a good balance of inspiring, affirming, and no bullshit.
